No boots? Don't superheroes all wear attractive boots? (Except the X-Men, whose boots are often really, really bad, fold-over types.)
Captain America and Captain Marvel (the one who is an African American from New Orleans) wear those bad boots, too. They are not flattering.
Featured here are my dad's old Puma hightops, actually.
Hightops at least aspire to the ankle and might therefore serve the boot function for a superhero, but unless your superpower has something to do with odors, I suggest avoiding footwear recycling.
