My father's answers amused me- Tractatus, dad? I've never even read it! Death Cab? They're so gloomy! Obviously he just didn't want to say TMBG, since everybody else did, and this is the man who won't order what he wants at a restaurant if someone else is getting it.

One of these days poor M-rrie B-rgman is going to Google herself and she will find this site and she will be sad. Actually I'm thinking of adding my current math professor to the Hate List after what happened today with the midterm. I was working along, rushing a bit, and feeling very anxious, and then twenty minutes before the test was over she came in and gave us THE OTHER HALF OF THE TEST that she'd forgotten to xerox.

It was not good.

Everyone's telling me I should go to the head of the department, but I feel like a tattletale. And I went to my professor's office hours today and she was spectacularly unhelpful. She says I should stay at Smith for Thanksgiving in order to study math. Um, no. I do two or three hours of it a day already, and I think I deserve a break.

Besides, I need to see my awesome family.
